About Me
Ken Looi
I’m probably best known around the world for being a unicyclist.
I started riding in December 2000, and since then I have gone from wobbling up and down the street, to setting various world records, winning a world championship title, and travelling to far flung places on one wheel.
Most of my riding is road unicycling and cross-country mountain-unicycling. I am also an avid (bi)-cyclist, and before unicycling I raced mountainbikes at a national level in New Zealand.
When not racing, I love travelling around the world on one wheel. It’s the simplest form of transport available, and it breaks down barriers whereever you go, even if you don’t speak the same language.
