This is an oldie but a goodie and I thought I’d share it. I heard it many years ago, when I was cramming in as much knowledge as I could as a Health Sci Student at University.
It’s funny how things come back to you and you wonder ‘what if’?
Equation of money
As every physicist knows:
Work Done =Power x Time
And common knowledge dictates that Time is Money, and Knowledge is Power
Substituting that into our formula we get Work Done = Knowledge x Money
If we rearrange the equation we get Money = Work Done/Knowledge
Which basically means that, the more you know, the less $$$ you make. The less you know, the more you make, regardless of how much work is done.
You can take what you like from that…maybe revisit it in a few years.

I’m bummed.
I held a really great domain for many years with the intention of one day doing something interesting with it. But I let the domain lapse because I gave up on that idea and I didn’t see the point in cybersquatting.
Well, I thought of what I was going to do with it today. But someones plucked it from cyberspace and well…squatted there.
Bleurgh!
That domain, if you’re interested: www.livejunction.com
In other news, I’ve shifted the SINZ website over to a new host, and so the photo eating gremlins which plagued the old site will hopefully be gone! I still have a few things to tidy up on the SINZ website…including putting up some old news articles and photos. Keep an eye out over the coming weeks.

I love this stuff.
As an aspiring pancake artiste, I think good maple syrup is indispensible. I even went all the way to Canada to get some.
The one I’m using at the moment comes all the way from Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. It’s a dark slightly bitter sweet syrup that gently flirts with the palette, particularly good with a tangy lemon/citrus pancake. I picked some up during the Ride the Lobster unicycle race last year. I wish I’d brought back more of it though. Two bottles is not nearly enough, especially as one was donated to the girlfriend at the time. I’ve almost run out
For any Canadians coming to Unicon 15 later this year…..bring of maple syrup. Lot’s of it!!!

Wow, is it just me or have the seats gotten bigger? I’ve been meaning to comment on this for sometime, but better late than never. If you’ve flown on this airline in the last few months, you’d notice that there is enough wiggle room for even the largest derriere. Y0u’d have to be bordering on morbidly obese to fit snugly into one of these things. And the space…oh the space! I have to lean forward to eat my meal. I can hardly reach the touch screen on the entertainment system.
I like Koru Club too…if you have to sit in an airport for hours there’s nothing like going to your little exclusive lounge with a good wine and a newspaper. And now I don’t have to pay for it. My Star Alliance Gold card arrived today, so I now have a choice of Airline lounges to sneak into. I’m beside myself with glee!
